Mods are REQUIRED to play on our server and we use a whitelist to maintain a friendly environment. You'll need to get on the whitelist and have the correct mods installed.

Texture packs might not work(completely untested) on our server because of all the custom items, mobs, blocks, etc. I haven't completed the Shader Pack tutorial, but this website will answer the basics about getting some of the most popular ones installed.
Always remember, this is just a game. We're here to have fun and we hope you are too! Just be respectful of other people and what they build. And if ever in doubt, just ask yourself, "what would Alyson do?"
